  • 4 cups water
  • 1 large lemon, juiced
  • 1 small lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium sized cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

Prepare:

  • Combine lemon juice, 1/4 of the cucumber, and basil leaves into a high sided bowl
  • Using a muddler or a wooden spoon mash these ingredients together into small bits
  • Put into pitcher and water and mix well
  • Garnish with the thinly sliced lemons and the rest of the cucumber. You can let the beverage sit overnight and drink over ice. This is a great liver support drink. For a little sweetness you can muddle in a handful of sweet grapes or pineapple.
