Elise Schmidt, RN
As an international adoptee, Elise came to America with significant congenital health challenges that required numerous visits to doctors and surgeons throughout her childhood. During those vulnerable moments, she experienced firsthand the compassion, and impact nurses can have on a patient’s life. These experiences inspired her to pursue nursing so she could provide others with the same care and comfort that made such a difference in her own life.
Elise believes in caring for the whole person and not just treating an illness, but recognizing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs that contribute to overall well-being. As a longtime patient of Revitalize Health and Wellness, she experienced this approach firsthand, inspiring her to join Dr. Kris Ritchey and become part of a practice centered on compassionate, individualized care.
Elise graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the spring of 2026 through an accelerated nursing program. During her clinical training, she gained experience caring for patients with complex conditions, including cancer, organ transplants, stroke, severe burns, and diabetes.
Her personal experiences have given her a unique understanding of how overwhelming healthcare can feel. Elise strives to help every patient feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
